It's the couple Martina Nickel and Michael Hechler.
The company was founded in Pfungstadt in 1995.
Hechler & Nickel attaches a great importance to personal and individual contact with their customers,which is reflected in the very high proportion of regular customers.
In 2011, the two moved to the neighboring larger Darmstadt where they found a desired location.
A 440 square meter industrial loft in the middle of the city, where they could present themselves very generously.
Over the years they created a very renowned multi-brand store and an online store with a ten-headed team. Due to their online shop the company Hechler & Nickel could be spread beyond the borders for customers all over the world and is known worldwide.
Darmstadt is located in the middle of the Rhein Main area, one of the strongest business centres in Europe.
Furthermore Darmstadt is the center of the Art Nouveau style, which had its heyday here, and the Mathildenhöhe, which was designated a World Cultural Heritage in 2021 and earned worldwide recognition.
Hechler & Nickel sells designs by national and international designers such as Acne Studios, Isabal Marant, Dsquared, Golden Goose Deluxe Brand, R13 Denim, Nili Lotan, AMI Paris, Stone Island, Extreme Cashmere and Aspesi.
